Date: 2015 - 2017 Company: JEC (Nanning, China) Position: Oral English Teacher Duties: I taught at this school for approximately 2 years, mostly focused on adult oral English training. I also taught 4 university students who won a national marketing competition, and needed to go to America to participate in a global competition. My role was to help improve their English skills, particularly regarding presentation skills and marketing and business English.
Date: 2014-2015 Company: New Oriental (Nanning, China) Position: Oral English Teacher Duties: Teach English to beginner level adult students, focussing on oral and listening skills especially pronunciation. I also introduced the students to life and culture in western countries. My ability to speak Chinese is especially useful to beginner students.

Design all lesson plans without a text book. Focus on email writing, telephone conversations and presentations.
Date: August 2009 – July 2010 Company: Websense (Beijing, China) Position: Team Supervisor Duties: Lead a team of 9 Chinese staff doing I.T. Customer support. Tasks included working with the entire department, focusing on our English majors, to improve and maintain a high level of spoken and written English.
Date: March 2005 – January 2008 Company: BearingPoint (Shanghai, China) Position: Documentation Lead Duties: Write English documentation for end users and other engineers. Work with the software engineers to help them improve their English writing for creating user documentation. Ran an English class outside of working hours for anyone in the company interested in learning English. Was given a special award for this.
Date: June 2003 – September 2004 Company: Foshan University (Foshan, China) Position: English Teacher Duties: Teach English to various aged students (from 12 – 30+) in the same class. Challenges included large class size (37 students) and huge difference in English levels (some students could barely speak at all, others were advanced). Pairing advanced students with beginners helped to alleviate these issues. After the summer course, I also taught one year of English to university students who needed to learn English as part of their majors.
